I attended UCLH for 6 consecutive weeks for 30 radiotherapy treatments. The care was fantastic and overseen thoroughly. I was always informed as to what was happening and had regular reviews with Clare David, the Doctors and other members of the team, so I had ample opportunities to ask questions as the course of treatment continued. The radiographers were very kind and helpful, very professional, and it was clear they knew who I was and what they had to do, as well as respectful and responsive to my needs. The readiness to help and ease my concerns was very touching. I felt that Clare was very much in charge and very approachable. I feel very fortunate and grateful to have received such good care.

Claire was very present and caring from the outset. She is extremely professional, very informative and patient. During my treatment it seemed there was never a time I couldn't pull her aside for a question or concern. She spent all the time I needed explaining what was happening and what will happen in great detail and clarity. It's a difficult environment due to the nature of the illnesses that Claire has to deal with and each patient having different needs and questions, but she always struck the perfect tone and told me exactly what I needed to know to get through the treatment. I feel I did better during my treatment thanks to her. The role she plays in that environment I feel is crucial to the patients through what is a very difficult process. Her level of knowledge and expertise is clearly extremely high. I couldn't recommend her more and I'm very thankful she is part of the process.

Clare David is truly amazing. She was there for me throughout my treatment. I looked forward to seeing her around. She is an absolute professional with a gentle manner. She always puts her patients at ease. All the staff in radiotherapy are so lovely. Always caring. It was remarkable how they always remembered my name. They all put me at ease. With Clare's support and all the lovely radiographers the treatment wasn't as scary as I had imagined. With all the care I had at UCLH I have my life back. I cannot thank them enough. What can I say about Claire. She is an amazing member of the team. She explained everything and took the time for me when ever I needed it. She made cancer as easy for me as she could. She has a person centred approach to all of her patients and is so calming. Claire has got me through the worst point of my life and we will be forever greatful Hold on to her and never let her leave !!!
